Electronic commerce:
A model that works wonders in countries where the population is accustomed to buying by catalog but not over in Spain to have the success that was expected. Over time this situation is changing and is increasingly common for families to do the grocery shopping over the Internet or buy books on Amazon. Where if it has worked perfectly when electronic commerce is offered for sale by Internet products that are not available to buy at a real store. Another Internet business strategy may be to provide such service to its traditional sales network. The Strategy is based on the Internet to sell in traditional markets supported from its Internet presence to provide services to its On-Line Business, Customers, delegations, etc.
While this strategy has little to do with an Internet business, dependent on the Internet to sell it can be seen as an Internet strategy. What matters is to close the sale, but rather who is involved in this process.
Example / Case: This case can be very useful for example to sell highly technical products or high value added, or with much R & D, or when a traditional firm has a commercial network or large spread in many different locations or when has a network of branches spread across many countries and so on.
The choice of one strategy or another will vary depending on various factors such as;
- We want to achieve with our Internet presence.
- To what extent we engage in the Business Internet.
- We are prepared for changes that involve our Internet presence.
- Etc.
In any event by doing and the best way to go is take the first step, which is why I advise you of the first step in starting your business online.

Imitators.
Its strategy is based on “copy” to succeed in their market on the Internet or in other markets. It really is a great strategy because the copy, select those innovations that have already been successful in other businesses.

This is kind of a strategy recommended in the case we do our business on the Internet or who want to reposition our Internet strategy. It is difficult to maintain such a long time since the strategy to do so for a long time we have to constantly be bringing new innovations. The problem can occur at the time that one or more of these innovations will fail, since the image of our business will be affected and thus the continuity of its success.
